Congress kept giving speeches only on poverty, we did work for the poor : Jai Ram Thakur

Congress people speak a lot of lies. They said that we haven’t done anything. This is the reason that Congress has reached this condition today as they can’t see good work and what is close to the poor .

They have no fear in the name of God and tell lies to befool people . People are not accepting convinced by the words of Congress because people have lost faith in Congress. said Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur in public meeting held on Tuesday. Jai Ram Thakur addressed rallies at Jaswan Paragpur and Bhoranj.
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that even today there is no such person from Congress who has not been benefited with the Central or Himachal government schemes. Giving an example, he said that everyone was vaccinated during Corona. We have also secured the life of families of congress leaders and workers . Is this not work? When we waived the water bill in rural areas, didn’t Congress people get its benefit? When we made 125 units of electricity free, did the people of Congress not get the benefit? Still they are saying that we have not done anything.

Jai Ram Thakur said that our government respected the old aged persons and started pension from the age of 60 which the Congress was giving over 80 years of age . Congress used to spend Rs 436 crore and we are spending Rs 1300 crore for pension to the old aged persons. We provided free gas connections to the houses of poor women. We started the scheme for free treatment of people. Prime Minister started Ayushman Bharat scheme and we started Himcare. Today 5 lakh people have been given free treatment. We have done what the big people could not do in all these years and.previous tenures .

They kept giving speeches on the poor and we worked hard to alleviate poverty and got close to the poor. This difference needs to be understood .

Jai Ram Thakur said that there are elections in Himachal and a big leader of the party in anger has gone on a Bharat Jodo Yatra.

Congress leaders are leaving the party and saying that nothing is left in congress party to stay there. There is no future In this party.
He said that we have started changing the rivaz from day one. In the past it was a rivaz to cancel the orders decisions of the old government and order an inquiry, as soon as the government was formed but we changed that . We said that this is “Devbhoomi” and this is not the culture of Himchal. The “rivaz” of acting out of vengeance should stop.
In BJP Raj, water reached in every house through tap and road reached in every village.
Jai Ram Thakur said that our government has reduced the fare to half in HRTC buses for women. Under BJP rule, water is coming from tap in every house and road has reached to every village of the state. The Chief Minister said that today the friends of Congress are not digesting the all-round development done in Himachal during the tenure of our government.

By putting on the clear glasses of development, they can see the work done by the double engine government
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that the people of Congress have said that the PM during his visit to Himachal Pradesh has not given anything. Health institution like AIIMS are not visible to them. When three bulk drug pharma parks were approved in the country, Himachal got one out of them. Still Congress people are saying nothing has been given. Four Vande Bharat trains started across the country, out of which one was started for Himachal. Himachal has got the Medical Device Park. He advised the Congress leaders to wear clear glasses take a tour of the state and see the development which the public can see and will show them the result through the ballot.
