Congress Govt under Sukhu’s leadership remains steadfast and unshakable : Naresh Chauhan
Chief Minister’s Principal Media Advisor, Naresh Chauhan, while addressing the media today, highlighted the success of the state government’s two-year milestone under the “Vyavastha Parivartan” initiative, celebrated in Bilaspur yesterday. Thousands of citizens attended the event, which served as a powerful response to the BJP’s criticisms. Chauhan praised Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu for his assertive speech, which strongly countered the BJP’s allegations, delivering a message that the Congress government, under Sukhu’s leadership, remains steadfast and unshakable.
Chauhan dismissed the BJP’s repeated attempts to destabilize the government, describing them as futile dreams. He asserted that the unwavering trust of the people in the Congress party and the government’s commitment to fulfilling all election promises would ensure the completion of its five-year term. Unlike the BJP’s reliance on false claims and misleading narratives, Chauhan emphasized that the Congress government prioritizes action and results.
He further elaborated on the achievements of the event, where the Chief Minister launched six new development schemes and distributed financial assistance to beneficiaries of welfare programs. Chauhan revealed that the upcoming budget would focus on strengthening the rural economy, with the government already taking decisive steps in this direction. He added that Rahul Gandhi’s vision for uplifting the poor, farmers, and rural communities would be central to the new budget’s framework.
Targeting former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur, Chauhan criticized his tenure for fostering mafias, including those in the liquor and paper sectors, which contributed to the state’s financial woes. He accused the previous BJP government of promoting the “double-engine” narrative while accruing massive debt without concrete plans or vision, leaving behind a burden of thousands of crores for the current administration to address.
