Congress government could not provide even a single permanent job in 14 months: Bindal
State President of Bharatiya Janata Party, Dr. Rajeev Bindal, while addressing the press, said that the present Congress government of Himachal Pradesh is almost completing 14 months, but the first decision taken by the present government after coming to power was Himachal Pradesh. It is burdening the people of the state. He said that after coming to power, the first decision the government takes is in public interest, but Congress’s Sukhwinder government hastily closed more than 1000 institutions without the cabinet and the process of closing institutions continued for months. In about 14 months, 1400 institutions have been closed by the present government.
Dr. Rajiv Bindal said that the Congress government has closed the SDM offices, tehsils, primary health centers and Patwar circles where doctors, staff and employees were working. By closing such offices, we have increased the problems of the people. Today 100-100 people remain in the queue and there is no work for months. He asked what was the reason that the institute had to be closed. Those institutions were opened on the demand of the local public. He said that by closing the institutions which were opened with the approval of the Finance Department and the Cabinet, they have cheated the people of Himachal Pradesh and done injustice to the people and exploited the people of Himachal Pradesh. Why is no one giving the answer till date? Why were these institutions closed?
Dr. Rajeev Bindal said that during the tenure of 14 months, the present government has not given even a single permanent job. During this period, the government has not kept even a single professor, even a single teacher, even a single doctor and not a single employee. Also, more than 12 thousand people were fired from their jobs. There can be no greater injustice, no greater betrayal of the youth of Himachal Pradesh than what the present government did by firing the outsourced employees.
Today there is no district of Himachal Pradesh where protests are not taking place continuously. Protests of all sections are taking place at various places. But the state government is in joy after pouring oil in its ears. The employees are forced to protest even in the cold winter, the quilts lying in the snow have become wet and they are sitting there squeezing the quilts. What kind of revenge is the government taking from the people of Himachal Pradesh? The youth of the state are crying outside the secretariat and reminding the people of the things done by the Congress.
Before coming to power, the present government had loudly said across the state that 67000 jobs are vacant in Himachal Pradesh and after coming to power, they will provide 100000 jobs to the unemployed youth in the first cabinet by adding 33000 more jobs. The state government cheated the people during its 14-month tenure, did not fulfill any of the guarantees given, nor is it taking any steps in this direction. The guarantees which were given to the youth, women, electricity, farmers and everyone else of the state only to get votes. The government has kept all the guarantees in abeyance, but the guarantees which were not given have been closed by closing the institutions and taking anti-people decisions and by stopping the due payments of employees and pensioners and only the Bharatiya Janata Party Spending time blaming others.
He alleged that the Congress state government had wasted 14 months of the people of Himachal Pradesh and instead of taking the state forward, it had taken the state backward.
