Himachal Cong stages Protest against Lakhimpur killing of farmers

Congress protested in all over state today in protest against the killing of farmers in Lakhimpur, Uttar Pradesh and the arrest of  general secretary of the All India Congress Committee, in-charge of Uttar Pradesh affairs Priyanka Vadra. Under the leadership of District Congress Committee Urban president  Jitendra Chaudhary, a demonstration was held outside the office of the Deputy Commissioner here, in which State Congress President Kuldeep Singh Rathore and Mahila Congress President Zainab Chandel  also participated.
 Addressing the protest meeting Kuldeep Singh Rathore expressed strong anguish over the killing of four farmers in Uttar Pradesh by the son of the Union Minister.
He said that due to the jungle raj in the BJP-ruled state of Uttar Pradesh, people associated with power openly commiting serious crimes. 
He said that it is clear from the Lakhimpur Kheri incident that the law and order situation has completely collapsed in UP.
 Describing the arrest of Priyanka Vadra by UP Police  completely undemocratic, Mr Rathore said that the BJP is trying to strangled democracy in the country.

 Mr. Rathore directly blamed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for these killing of farmers.
 He said that the minister’s son involved in this massacre had made a public threat to crush this movement a few days ago, but at that time the administration did not take any action against him. 
He said that if the administration had taken any action in time, these farmers would not have been killed. He alleged that the massacre was pre-planned. Mr Rathore said that this movement of farmers is going to be one year long in the country regarding three black agricultural laws. 
He said that the central government has been trying its best to suppress it.  He said that the Congress will not allow any kind of injustice to the farmers. Rathore said that BJP has always been anti-farmer and apple growers. 
He said that even in the state, the then BJP government had opened fire on the apple growers in which three people were martyred.

 Earlier, State Mahila Congress President Zainab Chandel and District Congress Committee Urban President Jitendra Chaudhary also expressed strong anger over the killing of farmers and demanded strict action against the culprits. In this protest, former MLAs Adarsh ​​Sood, Kehar Singh Khachi, Harikrishna Himral, Amit Nanda, Baldev Thakur and Pradeep Verma were also remained present.
