Cong slams Govt over failing of medicine sample

 State Congress President Kuldeep Singh Rathore expressed shock over the failure of samples of medicines manufactured in the state and expressed anger at the functioning of the government. He demanded  strict action has been demanded against him. 
In a press statement issued here today that the quality of medicines could never be compromised. 
Mr Rathore said that it is clear from the low quality of medicines made in the state that the government and drug controllers are not performing their duties properly. 
He said that due to repeated failure of samples of medicines manufactured in the state, creditibilty is also being compromised which is a matter of great concern.
 Mr. Rathore said that the state is pharma hub of the country in manufacturing of medicines.  
The former Congress government had played an important role in the establishment of pharmaceutical manufacturing companies by giving them special incentives, he added. 
He said that today due to the neglect of the BJP government, there is a cloud of crisis on the pharmaceutical manufacturing companies.

 Mr Rathore said that information are being pouring in that most of the samples of those medicines are failing which is very important for saving the lives of the people.  
There are important medicines like heart disease, high blood pressure, gastric which are used by most of the people today, so there is a great need to keep a close watch on the quality of these medicines so that people’s lives could be saved.  
There has also been a demand to check the quality of the medicines being made.
He urged the government to keep a close watch on the quality and prices of essential medicines and said that there is a great need to cut the prices of medicines like heart, hypertension and diabetes in the public interest as their prices are no longer affordable to the common man.
