Cong seek CBI probe in NIA’s alleged conspiracy against HP cadre’s IPS 

 State Unit of Congress party sought probe by the CBI over alleged involvement of Himachal Pradesh Cadres IPS officer Arvind Digvijay Negi in the conspiracy to share info over ground worker of LeT in Jammu Kashmir by the National Investigation Agency(NIA) recently, the issue was  raised by the Congress member Jagat Singh Negi(Kinnuar) while speaking on the budgetary demands of home department in the assembly on Friday. Members said  that a bright and honest IPS officer from Himachal Prasdesh Arvind Digvijay Negi, was recently arrested by the NIA under a conspiracy. IPS officer was posted and served in the militancy infested Jammu and Kashmir for last five years. Many militants were arrested and exposed by the exemplary performance of the IPS officers however when he was recently returned to state cadre a conspiracy was hatched on the complaint of an arrested DSP Devinder Singh who himself remained in the jail to help the militants escorting him in his vehicle recently. Mr Negi who has exemplary service records was booked on the statement of one DSP who is involved in assisting militants. Jagat Singh Negi said that IPS officers now becoming victim of militantany against whom he worked for last five years in the  Jammu Kashmir today as he is now in the custody of NIA, should be released and probe against him should be handed over to Independent agency CBI to probe the allegations in free and unbiased manner. CPI(M) member Rakesh Singha blamed the Jai Ram Government for indulging in divide and rule against the police and home guard. He said that different pay scales and benefits are being extended to them. He demanded the police personnel in the state with respect to United Nations guidelines. Mr Singha also said that atrocities againsit Dalit is increasing his assembly. Mr Singha said that Arvind Digvijay Singh who belonged to Kinnuar district are being victimised. He said that number of people and citizens who belonged to Dalit Families are missing from the state.
