Cong expelled two sitting MLA for antiparty activities
All India Congress committee expelled sitting MLA Lakhwinder Rana from Nalagarh of Solan district and Pawan Kajal from Kangra Assembly constituency for indulged in antiparty activities two press release issued by the AICC confirmed today. AICC state in-charge Rajiv Shukla and HPCC president Pratibha Singh said here today that both the MLAs expelled from Congress party for six years with immediate effect. It is worthwhile to mention that AICC that AICC also removed Mr Kajal from the post of party working President last night as he would be replaced by the Chander Kumar as Party working President. It is worthwhile to mention that Mr Rana and Kajal is in touch with ruling BJP party to joined ruling party. Mr Kajal was two time MLA and elected as Independent MLAs in 2012 and won on Congress party ticket in 2017. Mr Rana is three time MLA who won in by-election 2011, 2012 and 2017 on Congress ticket. Now number of MLA in Congress Legislative party reduced to 21. BJP which have two thirds majority in the 13 legislative assembly now scored its virtual strength upto 47. BJP move came in retaliation of recent move by Congress to bring two strong leader including Khimi Ram from Banjar (Kullu district) Indu Verma of Theog (Shimla).
