Cong accuse Jai Ram Thakur Government for Misuse of Helicopter & promoting VVIP culture

Congress party again accused Chief minister Jai Ram Thakur and his government to misuse Helicopter by spending Rs 25 Crore on it during last four years, party also slammed the Ministers of state government to promote VVIP culture creating whooping burden of debt on the state coffer. Himachal Congress Legislature Party (CLP) deputy leader Harshvardhan Chouhan who was addressing va press conference here today targeted Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur blaming him to not get down from the helicopter. ”80 years former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh and former  CM Prem Kumar Dhumal also used to go to see development work by road, but 54-year-old youth of CM Jairam did not want to take a step out of state capital without use of Helicopter . If  Even he wants to go anywhere near, he also takes flight in a helicopter.” Congress leader demanded that instead of promoting VIP culture it should be abolished ”If Congress government would come in power it would do away with VIP culture. Party chief minister would develop a new trend of traveling by road. He also accuseds council of ministers of incumbent gor using three govt vehicles each. He said that each vehicle was bought for Minister tune to Rs 35 lakh each. He blamed that Vehicles are being used to ferry  family’s and relatives of Ministers and chairmen and vice-chairmen on stste amenities. He said that state coffer currently under the debt trap of Rs 70000 Cr would burdens by bthe spendthrift of this government. Deputy CLP lashed out Jai Ram Thakur for not able to grant a single penny as additional central grant to Himachal Pradesh despite  Prime Minister Narendra Modi has come to Himachal 4 to 5 times within a year. Jai Ram Thakur  couldn’t show courage to ask pm to help the state by granting additional central assistance. Harsh Vardhan Chouhan challenged the ruling BJP to conducted Shimla MC assembly in time as the term of Shimla MC ended last month.  He said that Jairam Sarkar must have got an idea of ​​his popularity in the four by-elections last year.  This has never happened in the state before.  Harsh Vardhan Chouhan said that Himachal had a debt of about Rs 45000 crore during the tenure of the previous government.  Now it has increased to about 70 thousand crores.  He has demanded the issue a white paper regarding the increasing debt.
