CM & Vidhan Sabha Speaker express condolences over demise of former minister
Himachal Pradesh Chief minister Jai Ram Thakur and Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Speaker Vipin Singh Parmar has expressed deep condolences on the demise of former Minister Praveen Sharma. Mr Kumar died today as he was unwell for some time. He breathed his last on Thursday morning at his residence in Amb on Thursday. Mr Parmar said that as soon as the news of the death of Sports and Excise Minister Praveen Sharma came, a wave of mourning has run in the political corridors. Praveen Sharma was a strong leader of BJP. He was the Minister of Sports and Excise from 1998 to 2003. After this, after assuming several organizational posts in the state BJP, he was the vice-president of the state HIMUDA from 2007 to 2012. Shri Parmar said that Praveen Sharma was a grassroots leader. He was an intense orator and was directly associated with the poor, helpless and backward sections of the society. Chief Minister said that his death has caused an irreparable loss to the state, which is difficult to compensate. Mr Parmar has expressed his deepest condolences to the bereaved family and praying for the peace of the departed soul and wished them to rest at his feet. Dr. Hans Raj, Deputy Speaker of Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly and Secretary Legislative Assembly Yashpal Sharma have also expressed deep condolences on the death of former Minister Praveen Sharma and expressed their deepest condolences to the bereaved family.
