CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu will inaugurate the flying festival in Junga, 60 plus pilots have registered for the festival 

Junga Valley, the princely city adjacent to the capital, will be drenched in human processions tomorrow. So far, more than 60 pilots have registered themselves to participate in this flying festival. Out of which paragliders are also coming from Nepal. Arun Rawat, Managing Director of The Glide Inn, said that all preparations have been made for the flying festival. Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu will inaugurate the flying festival tomorrow i.e. on 12th October at 11:30 am. Whereas Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Anirudh Singh Chairman of HP Tourism Development Corporation and Vice Chairman HP Tourism Development Board Raghubir Singh Bali will attend as special guests. It should be noted that like Bir Billig, Kawan Valley of Junga is considered to be the most suitable place for paragliding.
He said that during this festival, presentations of cultural groups of the Language and Culture Department, exhibitions of self-help groups, and food stalls will also be set up. Apart from this, there will also be arrangements for Himachali Dham for the participants participating in the competition. A souvenir will also be released during the festival.
Many people including local residents Pankaj Sen, and Deepak Kumar said that Junga has been a princely state capital but to date, no government has made any efforts to develop this historical place from a tourism point of view. For the first time, a flying festival is going to be held in Junga, due to which it is expected that Junga will also have its own identity on the tourism map.
