CM Sukhu and senior BJP leaders mourn the demise of former MLA B.K.Chauhan
Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu mourned the demise of former MLA and former Chief Secretary of Jharkhand B.K. Chauhan, passed away in Delhi in the wee hours today. He was 76. B.K. Chauhan remained MLA from Chamba Sadar Assembly Constituency of Himachal twice from 2007 to 2012 and from 2012 to 2017.
The Chief Minister said that the contributions of B.K. Chauhan’s development of the Chamba assembly segment was immense and would be remembered by the people of the area for a long time.
The Chief Minister prayed to the Almighty for peace of the departed soul and strength for the bereaved family members to bear this irreparable loss.
BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda, former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur, State President Dr. Rajiv Bindal, State in-charge Avinash Rai Khanna, Union Minister Anurag Singh Thakur, co-in-charge Sanjay Tandon, former Chief Minister Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Shanta Kumar, MP and Former State President BJP Suresh Kashyap, Kishan Kapoor, Indu Goswami, Dr. Sikandar Kumar, State Chief Minister Trilok Kapoor, Bihari Lal Sharma have expressed deep condolence on the demise of former Chamba MLA and former IAS officer BK Chauhan.
