Clouds hovering in the Sky : Met Office forecast rain or snowfall in Himachal

Meteorological Department forecast rain or snowfall in mid hills at many places and few places\in the foothills and high reaches as the clouds are already hovering in the sky since this morning
Shimla Met Department spokesperson said that two western disturbances are approaching the  Western Himalayan Region ( Back to back ) as the first would affect the weather from Dec 1 toi Dec3, 2021 and another around Dec 4 to Dec 6 , 2021. 
” The state likely to have rain or snowfall at many places on Dec 2 and few places in the mid and high reaches The state likely to have rain or snowfall in few places in  the mid hills and isolated places in the foot and high reaches on Dec 1, 3 and 4, due to the impact of first spell of WDs in the state,” Met Office forecast.


The yellow warning was sounded to Nov 2 in the mid hills and high reaches to the State administration and public at large directing to take adequate safety measures in the light of above as the weather forecast and warning would be valid till Dec 6, however it would be mainly dry during next 24 hrs .
During the inclement weather  rain or snowfall   likely occur in  Sirmaur , Shimla , Kinnaur,, Lahaul Spitiand adjoining area in other districts. The Intensity of rain or snowfall could increase from Dec 2 to  3 with chief amount or peak precipitation around 2nd December 2021.
Warning of heavy snowfall likely to occur in higher in District Shimla , Kinnaur , Lahual Spiti , Chamba,\
Kullu on 2nd and 3rd December 2021.  2nd wet spell would commence from late 4th and increase gradually on 5th and 6th December 2021 with rainfall  or snowfall in many places of Himachal Pradesh. 
Moderate to heavy rainfall snowfall is very likely in district Shimla , Kinnaur , Lahaul Spiti , Kullu ,Chamba and rainfall in district Kangra, Mandi , Bilaspur, Solan and adjoining areas during this period . The rain and snowfall likely to be accompanied with thunderstorms or lighting in isolated parts of the state during the both spell .  

The advisory issued by the Met Office said that disruptions of essential services may be 
caused by the inclement weather impacting  water and electricity in Kinnaur , Chamba higher reaches of Shimla , Mandi . Kullu. 
People are advised to not travel in the snowbound area and avoid going out in open areas asin view of expected thunderstorms  and lighting . There is possibility of Landslides due to heavy rainfall and  snowfall in hilly regions . 
The inclement weather may lead to disruption and  congestions in the traffic in the hilly areas on \warning days . The advisory said that inclement weather could cause blockages of roadways along National or Sate Highways including  Hindustan Tibet National highway-5  between Shimla to Tibetanbeyond Shimla on NH-3 between Manali to Kelyong may stranded or cause difficulties to commuter, Tourists , Public at Large The visibility likely to decrease in view of low level clouds or  foggy cond hilly areas district .
This would end the one month long dry spell in the state and the farmers who are still waiting to sow the Rabi crops
like Barely, Wheat, Mustard, Pea and Gram etc in mid and high reaches likely to benefit with increasing thesoil moisture.
The minimum temperature slightly increase in last 24 hrs as Keylong was recorded minus 3.4 degreescompared to minus 4.6 degrees of yesterday, Dalhousie in Chamba 113 degrees, Kalpa in Kinnuar two degrees,Manali in Kullu 2.2 degrees, huntar and Chamba three degrees, Sundernagar four degrees and Mandi 5.2 degreesSolan and Kufri 5.5 degrees each and  Shimla 6.8 degrees.
Maximum temperature of Kangra 7.4 degrees Dharmshala was 7.8 degrees, Palampur six degrees, Una 6.8 degreesHamirpur seven degrees, Bilaspur eight degrees, Jubberhati 8.6 degrees, Nahan 11.8 degrees and Ponta Sahib 10.7 degreesrespectively.
