Chiyoga School got the title of all-rounder

The zonal level sports competition of Theog Primary Education Division was concluded at Central School Juggar on Sunday. In which Central Primary School Chiog got the title of all-round best. Sangeeta, a student of Chiyog School, and Vishal, a student of Sainj School, were declared the best athletes. Let us tell you that 450 children from 16 central primary schools of Theog education block participated in this three-day sports competition.
In the student category, Chiyog stood first and Sainz stood second in volleyball, Chiyog stood first and Tiyali stood second in Kabaddi, Juggar stood first and Dharech stood second in Kho-Kho, Chiyog stood first and Kyartu stood second in badminton, Juggar stood first and Tiyali second, in chess Chiog stood first and Tiyali second and in athletics Sainj stood first and Chiog second.
Similarly, in the girl’s category, Kyaratu stood first in volleyball and Bani stood second, in Kabaddi, Chiyog stood first and Devrighat stood second, in Kho-Kho, Juggar stood first and Dhamandari stood second, in badminton, Kyartu stood first and Chiyog stood second, in chess, Chiyog stood first. Ne got first and Svarog got second and in athletics Chiyog got first and Davaan got second. In the cultural program, Davaan stood first and Theog second in solo singing, Tiyali first and Davaan second in group singing, Chiyog first and Tiyali second in speech, Dharech stood first and Theog second, and in folk dance, Dharech stood first. First and Juggar got second place.
Zilla Parishad member Rajesh Kanwar presided over the closing ceremony and distributed prizes to the winners and runners-up. Whereas Dr. Ramlal, HOD of the Eye Department of IGMC, inaugurated the competition.
On this occasion, Sports Association President and BEEO Kehar Singh Kayath, Sports Incharge Surendra Kalia, Co-incharge Ramanand Sharma, Managing Secretary Lekhram Sharma, President PTF Jagdish Sharma, Vice President PTF Narayan Sharma, Co-Secretary Ramesh Sharma, PTF President Theog Ram Dutt Bhardwaj, Teaching staff and school children from various schools including Yogesh Chandel, Kewal Ram Sharma were present.
