Chiyog school became champion in district level hand ball competition
In the handball competition, Government Excellent Senior Secondary School Chiyog has captured the trophy by securing the first position in the district level under 19 student category sports competition held in Dutt Nagar yesterday. On reaching the school, the staff and school children welcomed the players by giving them garlands and gifts. Apart from this, the students of the school have won two silver medals in the district level Judo competition and two bronze medals in boxing.
While addressing the players, Principal Sandeep Sharma said that this year the students of the school have won more than 20 trophies in various sports. He said that for the first time in its history, Chiyog School has won so many trophies. Apart from this, about 25 students of the school have been selected for the state level competition this year. These include Tejasvi, Tamanna, Ishita, Simran, Sameeksha, Garima, Sneha, Vanshika, Shabnam, Mayank, Akash, Saksham, Aryan, Shubham etc. The selection of so many students for the state level competition is historic. Parents have congratulated the teachers on this achievement.
