CM inaugurates and lays foundation stones of 80 developmental projects at Pubowal in Haroli
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur performed inaugurations and foundation stones of 80 developmental projects costing about Rs.109 crore at Pubowal for Haroli Vidhan Sabha area of Una district today. These includes 70 schemes of Jal Shakti and one project of SIDC and other departments.
While addressing a public meeting at Pubowal in Haroli area, Chief Minister said that the present State Government was committed for alround and balanced development of the State. He said that the present He said that unlike the previous Government, the present State Government does not believe in politics of vengeance and vendetta and thus equitable development was being ensured in even those areas which were being represented by the opposition. He said that almost every section of the society have been benefitted by the welfare schemes of the State Government.
Chief Minister said that the opposition party in the State was a divided lot and was a issueless, leaderless and directionless party. He said that there were sixteen aspirants of Chief Minister in the Congress party and everyone were busy to score a point over one another. He said that service of the poor, weaker sections of the society and the downtrodden was the sole motto of the present State Government, but all these for the Congress leaders were nothing, as during their tenure corruption was at its peak.
Jai Ram Thakur said that Himachal Pradesh was among the best states in matter of Covid management. He said that the steps taken by the State Government in tackling the spread of this virus has been appreciated not only by the Prime Minister, but even by other states. He said that the Congress remained in power for last about 50 years in State as well as at Centre. He said that there were only 50 ventilators in the State when this virus broke in. He said that he took up the matter with the Prime Minister and immediately 500 new ventilators were provided under the PM CAREs for the State. Today facility of over 1000 ventilators has been made available in various hospitals in the State, he added.
Chief Minister said that there were only two oxygen plants in the State whereas today as many 32 PSA plants have been made functional in the State. He said that the State Government brought home as many as 2.50 lakh people of the State stranded in different parts of the Country. He said that the State Government also ensured that the pace of development goes uninterrupted during the pandemic, thus virtually inaugurated and laid foundation stones of developmental projects worth Rs. 4000 crore in 42 constituencies of the State.

said that 3.25 lakh gas connections were provided to the eligible families under the Gahirini Suvidha Yojana. He said that as many as 2 lakh families have been benefitted under the HIMCARE Yojna and Rs. 3000 per month were being provided to family with a critically ill patient. He said that Sagun scheme has been launched in the State to provide a financial assistance of Rs. 31000 to girls belonging to the BPL families of the State at the time of their marriage. He said that all these schemes have transformed the economy of the State and its people.
Chief Minister announced construction of seven kilometers new road for connecting historical religious place Gidgida Sahib-Roti Ram Ka Dera-Suboana-Rangiram ka Dera and Tahali Sahib, construction of 1200 meters Amrali-Bitan road to Amrali Gaua, construction of link road from Muhalla Jhugdan Rajputta Pandoga to National Highway, construction of link road from Sehtoot Bag Goan Khadd-Harijan Basti up to National Highway under SCSP, construction of 1200 meters link road from Purani Bhodi road-Sansowal to Swan River Bank, construction of link road from lower Bhadeda Santoshi Mata Mandir to Bhaiya ka mod Bhadodi.
He said that matter would be taken up with appropriate authority to open Super Speciality-ESCI hospital at Palakwah. He announced to open Atal Adarsh Vidyalaya in village Thakrana, construction of Science Block in Government Senior Secondary School Haroli, construction of six rooms each in Government Senior Secondary School, Pandoga, Singa and Pubowal. He also announced to upgrade Ayurvedic Health Centre Pubowal to 11 bedded Ayurvedic Hospital, upgrade Animal Husbandry Dispensary Badehda and Tahaliwal to Animal Husbandry Hospital, opening Primary Health Centre at Balliwal, opening a new Patwar Circle at Laldi and village Bitan, formation of new industrial area at Nangal Kalan-Jatpur-Manuwal and beautification work of pond in village Pubowal.
Vice Chairman State SIDC Prof. Ram Kumar while welcoming the Chief Minister said that the Haroli area has witnessed unprecedented development during the last about four years. He said that in the previous tenure Haroli area was infamous for drug abuse, but now the area was known as a model of development. He detailed various developmental demands of the area.
Mandal BJP President Narender Rana welcomed the Chief Minister and thanked him for dedicating several developmental projects worth crores of Rupees in Haroli area of the district. He also accused the Leader of Opposition of opposing the Bulk Drug Park in Haroli area.
