Chandigarh Vidya Jyoti Eduversity Celebrates International Yoga Day

The staff members of Chandigarh Vidya Jyoti Eduversity joined hands to celebrate International Yoga Day today. The event was organized to promote the physical, mental, and spiritual well-being of individuals through the practice of yoga.

International Yoga Day, observed annually on June 21st, aims to raise awareness about the benefits of yoga and encourage people to adopt a healthy lifestyle. This year, the staff members of Chandigarh Vidya Jyoti Eduversity decided to come together and mark this special day through a series of yoga sessions and activities.

The event commenced with an early morning yoga session held at the campus. Faculty members from various departments enthusiastically participated in the session. The yoga session was conducted by experienced yoga instructor Ms. Shilpa Thareja who guided the participants through different asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing exercises), and meditation techniques.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Bhalinder Pal Singh, the Head trainer at Campus, highlighted the significance of yoga in promoting a balanced lifestyle. He emphasized how yoga can help individuals manage stress, enhance concentration, and improve overall well-being. He also expressed his gratitude towards the faculty members for their active participation in making the event a grand success.

The event concluded with a closing ceremony, Registrar KK Sharma expressed his gratitude to the organizing committee and acknowledged the efforts put in by everyone involved in making the event a memorable one.
