Chandigarh Manali NH-3 close after landslide

Chandigarh- Manali National Highway no-3 closed due to landslide occurred near Mandi diwn this afternoon. Mandi police informed the commuters that a

 landslide has occurred between teen and panc mill between Mandi and Pandoh.SP Shalini Agnihotri told that due to landslide, there is a risk of falling of stones from above. The work of cleaning the road is going on, but if more debris comes from the mountain, then people may have to wait till evening. Till then, arrangements have been made for small vehicles and emergency vehicles to exit from the additional road. Lot of debris and rocks have fallen on the highway. The landslides occurred due to recent rainfall and widening of NH.  The  traffic was diverted   for vehicles light vehicles from Mandi’s Bhiyuli Chowk to Bajaura via Kataula Road.  People going to Chandigarh-Delhi have been requested to leave via Chailchowk via Pandoh.
