CCTV cameras will be installed in Junga school

 Keeping in mind the safety of children, CCTV cameras will be installed on the premises of Government Model Senior Secondary School Junga. This was announced by Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Aniruddh Singh while addressing as the chief guest on the occasion of the annual prize distribution ceremony of the school on Saturday. He said that apart from providing funds for repairing the roof of the open gym and science block in Junga school, he announced that he would give 25 thousand from his discretionary fund to promote cultural activities in the school and 50 thousand for purchasing equipment in other schools. He said that the matter would be raised with the CM for setting up a sports hostel in Junga school. He ordered the Public Works Department to prepare an estimate for demolishing three old dilapidated rooms of the school and constructing new rooms and toilets. The minister approved an amount of one lakh on the spot for purchasing furniture in the library of the local panchayat and three lakh for repairing three rooms.
In his address, the minister congratulated the children on the annual function and said that it is a matter of pride that many talented players of Junga School have brought laurels to the school and the region by participating in various sports at the national level. He also gave a message to the children to stay away from drugs. He said that everyone should voluntarily provide NOC for the construction of Purana Junga Koti road so that the roads can be constructed without any hindrance.
Earlier, Principal Suman Chandel welcomed the chief guest and presented the annual report of the school. He placed various demands related to the school before the minister. On this occasion, Zila Parishad member Santosh and local Pradhan Bansi Lal Kashyap also expressed their views.
Children of the local senior secondary school and primary school made the program attractive by presenting colorful cultural programmes.
On this occasion, Tehsildar Junga Narayan Singh Verma, Medical Officer Civil Hospital Junga Dr. Manoj Verma, SDO PWD Devesh Thakur, former head Baldev Puri, Atar Singh Thakur besides teachers and non-teaching staff of the school were present.
