Crashing defeat in bye poll & Assembly BJP consolidating in Mandi 

In run up for 2024 general election ruling BJP in the state started consolidating in Mandi Parliamentary Constituency as with this motive Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has reached Mandi on Friday. The party high command has appointed Mansukh Mandaviya as the in-charge of Mandi parliamentary constituency.    He  participated in the discussion program on Prime Minister’s Examination in Kendriya Vidyalaya.  Apart from former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur, seven BJP MLAs are also present with the Union Minister.  He is also scheduled to attend a meeting with the councilors of Mandi Municipal Corporation. Apart from having breakfast diplomacy at the house of BJP MLA Anil Sharma tomorrow  he will also attend the meeting of Drang assembly constituency. Party functionaries said that after appointed as Mandi Parliamentary in-charge he would   feel the pulse of people in parliamentary constituency and also submit report it to the party high command. Mandi is also one of the 162 weak seats in the Lok Sabha where party is concentrating . In order to strengthen the hold on those seats in the working committee meeting, the party has held today .After the death of MP Ram Swaroop Sharma, the seat was wrestled by the Congress party last year in the by Election.
