Cabinet panel submits JOA(IT) report Government
Himachal Pradesh Cabinet panel today decided to announce the result of the Junior Office Assistant (Information Technology) after seeking council of ministers nod of the same and withholding the results of those who are involved in the paper leak case.
Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri while presiding over a meeting of the Cabinet Sub-Committee to examine the legal aspects of the results of JOA (IT) postcode 817, held up on account of vigilance inquiry of the disbanded Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission, Hamirpur, here today, stated that after due deliberations, the unanimous decision has been taken by the sub-committee to announce the results for all the candidates who had appeared in the JOA (IT) postcode 817 exams, except those seven candidates, against whom FIR has been registered in the paper leak case.
He said that the recommendations of the sub-committee would be conveyed and placed before the full Cabinet for approval. “We believe that the decision taken by the sub-committee will give enough relief to the candidates sitting on a continuous hunger strike since from past few days demanding declaration of the results of JOA (IT)-817”, he said. Over 2 lakh candidates had appeared for the exam of JOA (IT) post code-817.
Industries Minister Harshwardhan Chauhan, Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi, PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh, and Ayush Minister Yadvinder Goma, being the members of the sub-committee, were also present in the meeting.
