Annidar Singh Nauti, the state president of Aam Aadmi Party’s farmers’ wing, attacked and surrounded the prices of apples by raising the support price by Re 1. Nauti said that increasing the support price by Re 1 is a bad joke with the farmers. The BJP government at the Center and in the state is anti-farmer and gardener and is doing injustice to the gardeners. Nauti told that the government purchase of C grade apples in Kashmir is Rs 24, so why only Rs 10.50 in Himachal? He has demanded that the grading system of Kashmir should be implemented in Himachal also. The Chief Minister should implement the grading system of Kashmir in Himachal also. Nauti said that the economic condition in Himachal Pradesh is dependent on apples, yet the government is not paying any attention to it. The government is not ready to give even the right price of apple, leave the right compensation to these gardeners. Nauti said that the Aam Aadmi Party stood with the gardeners and gave a message to the state, due to which the government has taken an incomplete decision under pressure. The government has decided to take the increased burden of GST on itself but has not clarified how it will be taken. Due to which this decision of the government is also not misleading.

Annidar Singh Nauti said that BJP’s central and state government is anti-farmer. The BJP government had already brought anti-farmer black laws. The farmers had to fight for their rights. Due to the insistence of the BJP government, farmers were martyred during the movement. Even then Jai Ram Sarkar did not raise his voice in favor of farmers and today Jai Ram Thakur himself is doing injustice to the farmers and gardeners of Himachal Pradesh. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party stands firmly with the farmers and gardeners as a whole. If the previous Congress and the present BJP government had increased the prices of apples, today the support price of apples would have been more than Rs 35, but both the governments did not pay attention to the interests of the gardeners. Today, when the gardeners are agitating on the streets against rising inflation, Congress is shedding crocodile tears, but even in Congress rule, no decision has ever been taken in the interest of the gardeners.
In the past too, during the Shanta Kumar government of BJP, when the Vagaban movement was launched, the government attacked Shimla city and many places with sticks and even hot water. In Kotgarh, three gardeners were martyred in police firing. Both BJP and Congress have been in power for 15 years. But he didn’t do anything. Both the anti-farmer BJP government and the Congress are equally guilty of the gardeners.

Aninder Singh Nauti has demanded from the government to increase the support price of apples to Rs 24, so that the gardeners who are troubled by inflation can get some relief. Nauti declared that the Aam Aadmi Party fully supports the movement of the Vagabons and stands with them. The Aam Aadmi Party will submit a memorandum to the Governor against the anti-farmer-wagban decision of the BJP government. Aam Aadmi Party stands shoulder to shoulder with the farmers. Aam Aadmi Party fully supports farmers and gardeners and they are not alone in their fight, Aam Aadmi Party stands with them. Aam Aadmi Party will continue to oppose it till Jai Ram Thakur is not taken back by the anti-farmers and gardeners. Nauti said that Jai Ram Thakur is no longer concerned with the public, he just keeps roaming in front of Adani and Ambani.

Nauti said that due to inflation, the gardeners of the state are reaching the verge of ruin. The packaging of apples has become twice as expensive. Due to which more than 1 lakh gardeners of the state are troubled by the impact of inflation, but the BJP government of Himachal does not care about anyone. Farmers and gardeners are agitating but the government is not paying any attention to them. Which proves that the government is not serious towards the farmers and gardeners. The government will have to bear the consequences.
