Bahra University to start courses in Stem Cell, Embryology & Artificial Intelligence
Bahra University Waknaghat (HP), in association with the Institute of Translational Health Science (IITHS) and EmbryoGenesis – Infertility Diagnostic & Research announced the launch of Himachal Pradesh first comprehensive Clinical Embryology program. This pioneering initiative aims to offer cutting-edge education and research opportunities in the rapidly evolving field of Embryology, Nutrigenetics and Stem Cell which explores the relationship between nutrition, genetics and Stem Cell.
Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chancellor of the BU, announcing this here today said the Nutrigenetics program includes a range of courses designed to cater to various levels of academic and professional aspirations. University also introduced the region’s first B.Tech CSE program in collaboration with MICROSOFT in the field of Artificial Intelligence.
Bahra University Chancellor said collaboration with MICROSOFT and IITHS brings a wealth of expertise and resources for the students at affordable cost. ITHS is renowned for its research in nutritional genomics and personalized nutrition. This partnership ensures that students receive education and training that is aligned with the latest scientific advancements and industry standards, he added.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Satbir Singh Sehgal said in a big initiative the BU has decided to introduce these socially and industry relevant courses in North India. This marks the first time such a comprehensive curriculum along with certification, is being offered in the region. This initiative aims to revolutionize education and research, positioning North India as a leader. Dr. Sehgal said the courses are designed by experts to provide comprehensive knowledge and practical skills, access to advanced laboratories and research centers and the graduates will be well-equipped for careers in academia, research, healthcare, and the industry.
Dr Pulakes Purkait head translational health sciences said the these program, which is being started in collaboration with the Institute of Translational Health Sciences (ITHS), offers a thorough exploration of cancer from its molecular underpinnings to therapeutic strategies, designed to cater to undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students.
