BSNL high-speed internet service launched in Kaza
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL)’s high-speed internet service Fiber to the Home (FTTH) was launched on Friday in Kaza of the Spiti tribal area. On this occasion, Chief General Manager BSNL JS Sahota participated as the chief guest.
ADC Rahul Jain said that FTTH facility will speed up government work. Along with this, people will benefit greatly from the facility of telecommunication in these areas of Spiti. Along with employment, facilities will be available in times of emergency.
Addressing the program, Chief General Manager BSNL JS Sahota said that 35 ForG network towers are to be installed in Spiti, out of which 6 towers have been completely installed. Around 625 mobile network towers are to be installed in Himachal Pradesh. These towers will provide network in about 2700 villages where there is no network facility. An investment of around Rs 45 crore is being spent on mobile towers in Spiti region. FTTH facility will write a new chapter in development for the people of Spiti. They said that
Unlimited voice calling facility was also available with plans of Rs 799,999,1499 and Rs 1799. With this plan, users also got OTT (over-the-top) benefits, which include Disney+ Hotstar, Lionsgate, Shemaroo, Hungama, SonyLIV, ZEE5, Voot and Yupp TV.
On this occasion, SDM Harsh Amarendra Negi, Tehsildar Bhumika Jain, Arvind Sharma BSNL, General Manager Shimla, Deputy General Manager BSNL Upendra Pathak etc. all heads of departments were present.

- Fiber Basic Plus 60 Mbps till 3300 GB then 4 Mbps monthly fee Rs 599
- Fiber Basic Plus Conversion LL FTTH (Only for Government Category) 60Mbps to 3300GB Monthly Tariff Rs 599
- Fiber Value OTT 100Mbps upto 1000 GB then 5Mbps + Free OTT Monthly Tariff Rs 799
- Super Star Premium Plus After 10 Mbps till 2000 GB 150 Mbps monthly fee Rs 999
- Fiber Premium Plus OTT up to 3300 Mbps after 15 Mbps + free OTT at 200 Mbps monthly tariff is Rs 1499 and Fiber Ultra OTT up to 4000 Mbps after 15 Mbps at 300 Mbps + free OTT monthly tariff at Rs 1799.
