BJP surrounded the assembly against the collapsing law and order, false guarantees, 1500 women, youth jobs, and mafia rule
BJP organized a huge protest demonstration at Shimla Maidan in Himachal Pradesh in which the top leadership of BJP was present.

State President Dr. Rajiv Bindal presided over the protest along with state in-charge Avinash Rai Khanna, Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur, Suresh Kashyap, Sikandar Kumar, Indu Goswami, Bihari Lal Sharma, Trilok Kapoor, all the MLAs and state officials were present.
BJP leader of opposition Jairam Thakur said that the real face of Congress, which came to power by misleading the public with false promises and guarantees during the elections, has been exposed in just 9 months. This government has neither any vision nor any priority. This government, which is enjoying power, does not even realize or care about the suffering of the people. Even to deal with natural disasters, there was no coordination in the government. The Chief Minister, Ministers, and Congress leaders kept singing different tunes. Instead of genuinely helping the disaster victims, the Congress government’s focus remained on how to avoid political damage due to the tragedy. Any government is formed to take the country or state forward, but the Congress government in Himachal is working to push this hilly state backward. Despite getting full help from the Center to recover from the disaster, the ungrateful ruling party is falsely accusing the Central Government of neglecting Himachal.
At the protest rally in Shimla, former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur said that the Congress, which came to power 9 months ago, did not take a single decision in public interest. He took anti-people decisions at every step. The results of recruitment examinations are not being declared. Notices have been issued to remove about 1800 employees appointed at the time of Corona. Similarly, thousands of outsourced employees from many other departments and institutions including PWD and IPH were sent home. Due to this, there is an atmosphere of anarchy in the state. Due to disputes arising over customs duty and toll barriers, taxi and truck drivers and industrial houses of the state are facing financial losses. The deteriorating law and order situation is a major failure of the present government. Law and order has completely collapsed in the state. The situation is such that anti-social elements are fearlessly committing criminal crimes in broad daylight, due to which the image of Devbhoomi Himachal is being tarnished. Under the rule of Congress government, the shameless and disgusting actions being taken by the women of the state are putting the state to shame. A living example of this has also come to light in the Chief Minister’s home district. The law is being flouted openly every day during the Congress rule.
The former Chief Minister said that during the BJP government, more than 1000 institutions, which were opened on the basis of the demand and need of the people, were closed without thinking by this government, acting out of political malice and a sense of revenge. Now, by announcing their reopening, this government is getting its act together. This is the first time in the history of Himachal that people and employees have to take to the streets against the government in just 9 months. Even before the BJP’s anger rally, slogans are being raised against the government every day. Protesting against the discriminatory actions of the government, inflation, worsening law and order, atrocities on women and monkeying around in disaster relief and in the first cabinet like giving employment to one lakh youth, giving Rs 1500 per month to women, giving 300 units of free electricity and buying cow dung from farmers. To remind the promises and guarantees, BJP has raised the voice of all sections through the Aakrosh Rally. The post-mortem of the government’s actions has been conducted by gheraoing the Assembly and its report has been placed before the public. The government will have to give account to the public of the promises and guarantees made during the elections. BJP will not sit silent. She will play the role of a strong opposition honestly. If the government improves its attitude and does not fulfill the guarantees given to the public, it will have to face serious consequences.
BJP State President Dr. Rajiv Bindal said that this is the first time in the history of Himachal Pradesh that 10 months have passed since the Congress government was formed in the state and within 10 months there is so much anger among the people towards the government. This anger is clearly visible on the faces of thousands of workers who have come to Shimla and this shows that the Congress government is going to be removed from power soon. Before coming to power, Congress had said that as soon as it comes to power, an amount of Rs 1500 will be released every month to 22 lakh sisters of the state. Lashing out at Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh, the head of the Congress government, State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal said that when he had gone on the Spiti Valley tour of Lahaul and Spiti. So during that time he had talked about giving Rs 1500 to every woman of Spiti Valley and all his MLAs and ministers made noise in the state that we have fulfilled our guarantee. But the truth is that in other areas of the state, no woman has been able to get this amount yet and the Congress government has also incurred a debt of Rs 13.5 thousand for each woman. Now the women of the state are also demanding from the Congress government that when will this guarantee of their simple rights be fulfilled.
The same Dr. Rajeev Bindal said that the Congress Party had said that 1 lakh youth will be given jobs in the state in the very first cabinet. But today many cabinet meetings took place and the unemployed youth are still roaming on the streets. In such a situation, the Congress government cheated the youth and also exploited them in the name of employment. He said that law and order has now broken down badly under the Congress government. Last month, a Dalit youth was murdered in Chamba and his body was cut into pieces and thrown into a ravine. But Congress government chief Sukhwinder Singh has not even reached Chamba to meet the victim’s family till date. There is no such district in Himachal Pradesh today. Where cases of crime against women have not increased. What could be more shameful for the Congress government than that it is not able to provide security even to the mother power in the state.
Dr. Rajeev Bindal said that Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh made a lot of noise in the Manipur issue. But in his own home district, a woman’s hair was cut and her face blackened and she was paraded around the area. What could be a more shameful incident than this? Now his home district Hamirpur itself became Manipur. In such a situation, what action was taken by the government? So that mothers and sisters in the state can remain safe.
Dr. Rajeev Bindal said that the previous BJP government had reduced the price of diesel by Rs 7. But the Congress government increased the prices of diesel as soon as it came to power. Today, the poor are getting expensive ration in the depots of the state and the price of electricity has also been increased. Now the Congress government is imposing tax on everything and in the future the Congress government can impose tax on sloganeering also. The government can also impose tax on drinking water.
He said that when natural disaster occurred in Himachal Pradesh, more work was done by BJP than the government. BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda visited Kullu, Mandi, Shimla and shared the pain and suffering of the victims and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has also made his most important contribution in the development work by releasing relief funds immediately. In such a situation, the Congress government is now blaming the BJP for its failures. Because they are not able to get any work done on the ground themselves. Congress leaders are giving statements every day that BJP is not doing anything. Whereas they should be aware that the government in the state belongs to the Congress Party and the Congress government should also work towards providing relief to the general public. The government is neither able to provide relief to the people affected by natural disasters nor is it able to provide them land to build houses again. Dr. Rajeev Bindal said that if the government is not handled by Congress leaders. So he should leave him immediately and BJP will tell him how to run the government properly in the state.
Himachal BJP state in-charge Avinash Rai Khanna strongly condemned the actions of the state government and advised to stop taking unreasonable decisions being imposed on the people of the state. He said that the present Congress government never appreciates the schemes and financial assistance received from the Central Government, rather it plays its own tune and has been committing the crime of misleading the simple people. Six-time Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh had given unemployment allowance ranging from Rs 1000 to Rs 1800 to the youth to grab power in 2012 and even today the present Congress government has grabbed power by giving false guarantees. He said that development is not an illusion, the Congress party is an illusion. BJP did excellent work during the tenure of Jairam Thakur and opened more than 1000 institutions which were closed by this government. The public demands an accounting as to why there was betrayal.
Former BJP state president and MP Suresh Kashyap said, what is the fault of the institutions? It is the custom of the Congress party that outsourced employees in the state are being outsourced on contract and are being shown the way out. As soon as it comes to power, the government’s intention to lock and de-notify thousands of institutions gives rise to politics of hatred.
State BJP leader Rashmighar Sood said that the Congress government which came to power by misleading the people of Himachal in the illusion of guarantees, Vice President and woman leader Rashim Dhar Sood said that enough is enough waiting, now restore our rights. Attacking the Sukhu government, he said that the anti-people decisions of the Congress have burdened the people of the state under the burden of inflation, for which there is huge anger among the public. He said that Congress has not been able to live up to the promises it had made to women to snatch power. The promise of giving fifteen hundred rupees per month to women under ten guarantees remains stuck in the false election bundle of the government even after nine months. A full account will be taken of the deception done to the women of the state due to which the government of happiness will turn into sorrow. Today the women power of the state is alert and also aware of their rights. He said that the voice of women’s protest is so loud that it will rise from Shimla Assembly and reach the deaf high command of Congress, Sonia and Priyanka.
