BJP stalwart Shanta Kumar snubbed Indian Premier league officials for vulgar and indecent parlance being used against women hired by the league for upcoming series. Former chief minister and union minister who is known for calling ‘ a spade a spade’ has objected to calling the women players of the country sold out.  In his recent Social media posts he snubbed the IPL manager and also questions the credibility of media to use  of words like bid for women players unfortunate. Shanta Kumar said that literal meaning of words not sounds healthy.  He said a news paper reported about IPL auction of women  players’ skills sold for the highest amount of 1.5 crore, some daughter was sold for 40 lakh rupees, some daughter was sold very cheap in the auction and some daughter was sold very expensive. He further said that Players who bring laurels to the country are bought and sold. The truth is that in that sense there is neither an auction nor any buying and selling.  In fact, some organization honors a player with a reward for playing.  Shanta Kumar said that institutions compete with each other to honor good players, but languages have not become so bankrupt that they cannot find good words for their glorious work.  I don’t understand why it is written that players are bought and sold for lakhs of crores in the auction. Referring to Union sport minister Anurag Thakur he said that a decision on the issue should be taken  The Language of bought and sold, but it is shameful to use these words for players.  This should not be done at all.  Indian players should also oppose the use of these words.
