BJP ruined the future of 15 political leaders 9 from BJP, 4 from Congress and 2 independents: Rajneesh Kimta
State Congress Organization General Secretary Rajneesh Kimta has said that the top leadership of the state BJP has completely ruined the political future of 15 political leaders, including 9 from BJP, 4 from Congress and 2 independents. BJP has insulted its leaders by giving party tickets to six Congress leaders and three independents. BJP State President Rajiv Bindal and former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur should apologize to these leaders for imposing 9 assembly by-elections before time in the state. These leaders should now resign from their posts and retire from politics for imposing by-elections on the state without any reason.
Rajneesh Kimta said here today that BJP’s Operation Lotus against the Congress government in the state has flopped badly. Due to the unsuccessful attempt of BJP to grab power through manipulation and money power, BJP has also broken the trust of its hardworking leaders and workers. By joining hands with six Congress MLAs, they stole the Rajya Sabha seat using money power. After this, three independent MLAs were also made to resign from the assembly. These leaders will never forget the disrespect BJP has shown to its hardworking leaders by giving party tickets to all these leaders in these 9 assembly by-elections.
Rajneesh Kimta said that the results of the assembly by-elections have proved that the people of the state neither believe in money power nor in defection. The people of the state will never forgive the BJP for the game it played in the state for its political interests.
Kimta said that after these by-elections, the number of Congress members in the state assembly has now increased to 40. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, the Congress government in the state has become even stronger. Now, any conspiracy of the BJP to destabilize the government will not be successful.
