BJP of making unsuccessful attempts to mislead the people: Pratibha

State Congress President and former MP Pratibha Singh has accused the BJP of making unsuccessful attempts to mislead the people of the state by making baseless allegations against the Congress government. She has said that after the spectacular victory of the Congress in the assembly by-elections, the BJP should now play a positive role of the opposition.!

Giving her reaction on the political resolution passed in the State BJP Executive Meeting, Pratibha Singh has said that BJP is completely guilty for spreading political instability in the State and imposing unnecessary Assembly by-elections on the State and for this, it should apologize to the people of the State.

Pratibha Singh said that the former BJP government is completely responsible for the dire economic condition of the state. The Congress government has inherited a debt of more than 70 thousand crores and liabilities of more than 10 thousand crores on the state. During this period, the former BJP government, which claimed to be a double engine government, completely failed to get any special financial assistance from the Center.

Pratibha Singh has said that the BJP-led Central Government did not provide any financial help to the state during the disaster that struck last year. The state government provided all possible help to the disaster-affected people on a large scale from its treasury.

Pratibha Singh said that the Congress government has fulfilled its guarantee by issuing OPS to employees and honorarium of Rs 1500 to women. The government is fully dedicated to public welfare and will never back down from it. She accused the BJP of making unsuccessful attempts to mislead people by telling lies. The spectacular victory of Congress on six assembly seats in the nine assembly by-elections has proved that the people of the state trust the policies and decisions of the Congress.

Pratibha Singh has advised BJP that they should extend their support in the development work of the state. People have put them in opposition and they should play a positive role as opposition.
