BJP is completely upset with Congress manifesto and is trying to mislead people: Sanjay Awasthi

State Congress Working President and Chief Parliamentary Secretary Sanjay Awasthi has said that the BJP is completely upset with the Congress manifesto and is trying to mislead the people. He has said that the BJP is clearly seeing its defeat in the two phases of elections held in the country so far and now it is trying to divide people in the country in the name of caste and religion.

Sanjay Awasthi has termed as completely baseless the statement of BJP State President Rajeev Bindal in which he has talked about Muslim appeasement regarding the words majority and minority in the Congress manifesto. He has said that Congress has always been in favor of equality in the country. He said that Bindal is trying to spread fear among the majority in the state for his political gains. Congress is fighting for justice in the country and is standing with the people to ensure that injustice is not done to anyone. BJP is playing with the Constitution of the country which will never be tolerated.

Awasthi has said that Congress is fully committed to protecting the interests of minorities in the country. This does not mean that any rights of the majority in the country should be violated. He said that the Constitution of the country gives us the right to equality and no one can violate it. BJP is making an unsuccessful attempt to create a divide and hatred between the minority and the majority in the country, in which it will never succeed.

Awasthi has said that the BJP is completely demoralized in the state. He has said that BJP has no issue with Congress for the elections. BJP has realized its clear defeat in all four Lok Sabha and six assembly by-elections in the state, hence it is making every effort to divide the society by misleading people about Congress and its manifesto. He said that the Congress government under the leadership of Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu is in full majority and on June 4, the election results will be in favor of Congress and BJP will keep wringing its hands. He said that manpower and not money power will win in the country and the state.
