BJP Himachal Pradesh membership target achieved, JP Nadda honored Bihari Lal Sharma in Delhi
BJP’s national workshop was organized at Delhi headquarters. This meeting was chaired by National President JP Nadda in which BJP’s State President Dr. Rajiv Bindal, State In-charge Shrikant Sharma, Co-In-charge Sanjay Tandon, Organization General Secretary Siddharthan, General Secretary Bihari Lal Sharma, Vice President Sanjeev Katwal, Secretary Sumit Sharma were present.
In this meeting, BJP Himachal Pradesh was felicitated by National President JP Nadda, Organization General Secretary BL Santosh, General Secretary Vinod Tawde through Membership Campaign Incharge Bihari Lal Sharma. BJP Himachal Pradesh was felicitated at the second position after Arunachal Pradesh under the Ordinary Membership Campaign.
State General Secretary Bihari Lal Sharma said that it is a matter of pride for BJP Himachal Pradesh that as a result of the tireless hard work of the Devtuliya workers, we have made 15.50 lakh members, being in second place in the country. Under the Membership Campaign Organization Festival, Arunachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Assam, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand have achieved their membership target. He said that on 2 September 2024, the membership campaign of the party was launched at the BJP Central Office in Delhi by the lotus hands of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Bharatiya Janata Party is the only party in the country, where from the Prime Minister to the Union Minister, from the National President to the State President and from the District President to the Mandal President, all the party workers and office bearers have to get their membership renewed after 6 years. This cannot be possible in any other political party, because all the other parties are parties based on caste, region, family or particular community. Only Bharatiya Janata Party is the party of everyone and the entire society.
Bihari Lal, with special experience, organized a membership drive at booths in Lahaul-Spiti district, situated at the highest altitude in the world, at an interval of 10 km from the China border, namely Tashigang (15256 feet), Keyh (15256 feet) and Hikkim booth (15000 feet), where the temperature is measured to be zero degree. Due to the closure of the road, workers of Spiti Mandal enrolled 62 members in Tashigang, 51 in Keyh booth and 47 members in Hikkim booth by walking for 1 hour 40 minutes. 100 new members were enrolled at the last village Chitkul (11,320 feet) on the China border in Kinnaur district and about 120 new members were enrolled in Asarang village (12000 feet).
BJP State President Dr. Rajiv Bindal said that congratulations and best wishes to all the workers of BJP Himachal Pradesh for achieving the target of membership campaign. BJP is a worker-based political party in which every worker of the party is working day and night to strengthen the party. This target which we have achieved was not possible without the hard work of the workers.
