Former Chief Minister and Leader of the Opposition of BJP Jai Ram Thakur participated as the chief guest in the live broadcast of PM Modi’s Mann Ki Baat program and the workshop of District Shimla Membership Campaign 2024 at the state headquarters Deepakmal Chakar. The program was presided over by District President Prem Thakur.
Jairam Thakur while addressing the meeting and the media said that the Mann ki Baat program is the most popular programme of PM Modi. The way he talked to the students of IIT Madras in Mann ki Baat and encouraged them is a big encouragement for the Start-Up scheme.
BJP is not only the largest political party in the country but also in the world: Jairam Thakur said that under the BJP membership campaign 2024, the BJP is moving ahead of the target of making 200 members at each booth in Himachal Pradesh. The organization is going to make 16 lakh members in Himachal Pradesh. Today, BJP is not only the largest political party in the country but also in the world, other political parties are miles away from BJP. This campaign will be launched in the country on September 1 and in the state on September 2.
Jairam Thakur said that when the elections were going on, we had assured the employees about OPS that BJP is serious about the employees across the country. Under the leadership of PM Modi, the BJP moved forward seriously and worked to bring a unified pension scheme across the country, due to which the employees of the whole country are happy, this is very big good news that will secure the future of all the employees. He said that there are many special things related to the integrated pension scheme such as the assured amount of pension: For a minimum service of 25 years, 50% of the average basic salary received in the last 12 months before retirement will be given as minimum pension. For less service up to 10 years, a proportionate amount will be given as a pension. In case of the death of the employee, a family pension will be ensured immediately at the rate of 60%, on retirement after 10 years of service, an assured minimum pension amount of Rs 10,000 per month will be given and the employees will get many benefits. The Legislative Party and BJP thank PM Modi for this decision.
CM Sahab, enough of speeches, now is the time for a solution: Jairam Thakur said that CM Sukhu should clarify his stand on the issue of employees. The atmosphere prevailing between employees, ministers, Chief Minister in Himachal is unfortunate. Why are employees on the streets today? Why are employees worried? Why are promotions, DA, and arrears all pending in the entire state?
He said that CM Sahab, enough speeches have been made, and now is the time for solutions. Employees in the state need solutions, not protests. When the BJP was in power, salaries were never stopped, DA was given on time and all matters were heard seriously, this time there is no hearing of the employees at all.
He said that the BJP Legislature Party meeting will be held tomorrow and we will corner the Congress on many issues like inflation, mismanagement, corruption, law and order in the upcoming assembly session. Development has come to a standstill and mismanagement has increased in the Congress rule.
In the meeting, former minister and state vice-president Rajiv Saini presented the membership campaign before the workers.
