Big blow to BJP in Karsog, ticket contender Yuvraj joins Congress
BJP has suffered a major setback in the Karsog assembly constituency. Scheduled Caste Morcha Vice President Yuvraj Kapoor, who was a contender for the BJP ticket in the last assembly elections, joined the Congress along with dozens of supporters on Thursday. Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu and Public Works Minister and Lok Sabha candidate Vikramaditya Singh got him included in the Patka Party. He has expressed faith in the policies of the Congress government and the Chief Minister.
Former IPS Jagat Ram has also joined Congress. Along with Yuvraj, former BJP State Working Committee member Anup Thakur, former BJP General Secretary Deep Raj, BDC member Anant Ram, former Vice President Parmanand, Narayan Singh, Gopal Krishna, Chetan Sharma, Kishori Lal, Naresh Thakur, Kushal Chand, Kuldeep Singh, Sundar Singh, Roop Singh, Tula Ram, Gopal Gir, Keshav Mehta, Bihari Lal, Paras Ram, Chhaju Ram, Mansa Ram, Naresh Kumar, Dabar Ram etc. have also said goodbye to BJP. The Chief Minister said that all the officials and workers from BJP will get full respect in Congress.
Yuvraj said that he will work wholeheartedly for the Congress party. The Chief Minister is doing excellent work in the interest of the state. Every person is benefiting from his policies. The state has got such Chief Ministers, who themselves have reached this position after struggling from a poor family.
