Bharat Vikas Parishad to celebrate Seva Pakhwada
Bharat Vikas Parishad, committed to building a ‘healthy, strong and cultured India’ across the country through its 1500 branches in the field of service and culture, is going to celebrate its 62nd Foundation Day on 10 July. Bharat Vikas Parishad was established on 10 July 1963, which is going to complete 61 years of its establishment this year. Regarding this, Manoj Ratna, Provincial President of Bharat Vikas Parishad Himachal Pradesh West, said that 27 June is the birth anniversary of the council’s founder and first national general secretary Dr. Suraj Prakash ji. On this occasion, Seva Pakhwada is being organized across the country from 27 June to the 62nd Foundation Day of the council on 10 July.
He informed that Bharat Vikas Parishad is running a campaign to contact enlightened, intellectual and influential families in prominent places and connect them with the Parishad. Work is being done in a planned manner for membership expansion in about 15 branches of the province and it will be accelerated till the foundation day.
Provincial President Manoj Ratna said that many activities are being carried out by the branches during the Seva Pakhwada to promote topics like environment, family enlightenment, social harmony, civic duty and Swadeshi. Apart from this, training will be given to become an ideal citizen and nation building by increasing the sense of sensitivity and cooperation towards the society among the youth. For this social change, there is also a plan to organize Sanskar workshop and family dispute resolution workshop for teachers in schools and universities.
