Beneficiaries of PNMVY under cyber attack:  Admin

Shimla district administration issued warning to beneficiary of Pradhan Mantri Mat Vandana Yojana(  a centrally sponsored scheme) that they may be on the target on the cyber fraudsters attack. A case of online financial fraud came to notice in Shimla district was registered today. District Program Officer Shimla (ICDS) Ms. Mamta Paul has issued a notice to all the Child Development Project Officers of Shimla District, cautioning them that all the beneficiaries associated with the scheme need to be remain alert and if they got any call about transfer of Rs 5000 in their account and demand OTP. It is worthwhile to mention that

under this scheme,  amount  Rs.5000 is being provided to the women who become mothers for the first time. She warned that  fake call is being made on the name of SMJ SOLUTION PVT LTD alluring beneficiaries of PMMVY being run by ICDS. The fraudsters are trapping people by alluring the beneficiary to transfer Rs 5000 to their account through online medium. She said that in case of any call victim call immediately to  ICDS Officer and do not share PIN number or OTP with anyone.
