Basic facilities in rural areas will be expanded on a war footing: Vikramaditya Singh
Public Works and Youth Services and Sports Minister Vikramaditya Singh has said that his government is determined to give priority to the development of the state, especially the rural areas. He has said that basic facilities in rural areas will be expanded on a war footing.
Vikramaditya Singh while addressing the people at the district level Dev Harsing fair after inaugurating the veterinary hospital building and laying the foundation stone of the lift drinking water scheme for Chanavag and Naihara Panchayat in Chanavag of his constituency Shimla Rural today, said that he would be Dedicated to the development of and will always be. Expressing gratitude for giving him an opportunity to serve again after winning him with a huge margin, he said that he is determined to take forward the foundation laid by former Chief Minister late Virbhadra Singh for the development of the state at every level. He said that even though Virbhadra Singh is no longer with us, his love and guidance always inspire him to move forward and serve the people.
Vikramaditya Singh called upon the youth to contribute significantly in the development of their area. He said that livestock is such a business that can become a very important source of our income. He said that the government is promoting animal husbandry so that the rural economy can move forward. He said that we have to move forward in the direction of furthering the traditional farming and harti revolution.
Vikramaditya Singh also heard the various demands and problems of the people during this period. He directed the officers not to make any delay in solving the problems of the people.
On this occasion he was accompanied by Block President Gopal Sharma, former President Chandra Shekhar Sharma, Pradhan of Chanavag Panchayat Krishna Sharma, Deputy Pradhan Jagdish Gautam, Panchayat Samiti President Karm Chand, S R Harnot, Besar Das and many other eminent people of Public Works and Irrigation. And officers of the Public Health Department were specially present.
