On this occasion, he also fiercely targeted the opposition on the issue of Bangladesh and advocated the implementation of Uniform Citizenship Law in India. He said that due to the Bangladesh episode, the anti-Hindu face of the opposition has been completely exposed. The opposition leaders who cried about Gaza have become completely silent on the plight of Hindus of Bangladesh. Anurag Thakur said that Rahul Gandhi congratulated the Prime Minister of the interim government of Bangladesh for coming to power, but he did not say even two words about the atrocities being committed against Hindus in Bangladesh. He said that after the Bangladesh incident, it has become clear how important it is to implement a uniform citizenship law in India.
Mr Anurag Thakur, who reached Bathu-Bathdi industrial area, said, “Recently, I inspected the damage caused by heavy rains and floods in Bathu-Bathdi, Haroli industrial area of Una in my Hamirpur parliamentary constituency and the damage caused by the floods in the affected areas, especially the industrial units. The Congress government of Himachal should go into the depth of the reason that the industry suffered such a huge loss.
When there was information about floods and rain three days in advance, why did the government sit idle? The industry is suffering huge losses due to mining, but the government machinery is sleeping. What is the compulsion of the Congress that it needs to protect the mining mafia?
