Atrocities on Ankita under BJP rule in Uttarakhand, justice is not being given: Nirmal Sharma, AAP
In a statement issued to the media, Aam Aadmi Party Women’s Wing President Nirmal Sharma said that atrocities on women continue to increase under the BJP rule. In Uttarakhand, the son of a BJP leader brutally murdered 19-year-old Ankita. Ankita’s family is demanding justice, but justice is not being received. Ankita’s family members do not believe that they will get justice in the BJP government. In Himachal also, BJP came to power by making an issue regarding the Gudiya incident during the previous Congress government, but it has been five years since the government was formed, the family members of Gudiya did not get justice. In BJP rule, goons get protection and BJP leaders intoxicated with power commit atrocities on women, which are in front of the public in the form of Ankita Murder Case in Uttarakhand. Law and order collapses under BJP rule. In Uttarakhand also, BJP government was formed 6 months ago and news of crime is coming from there, while 6 months ago in Punjab, Aam Aadmi Party government was formed, news of development is coming from there. Nirmal Sharma said that the difference between the Aam Aadmi Party government and the BJP government is clearly visible. Nirmal Sharma said that BJP leaders are silent in the Ankita murder case and are trying to suppress the matter. Ankita’s killers should be punished severely. Such punishment should be given to the killers that no leader would ever dare to commit such atrocities with any girl after getting the protection of power.
Nirmal Sharma, comparing the tenure of 6 months of the Aam Aadmi Party government of Punjab and the BJP government of Uttarakhand, said that electricity has become expensive in Uttarakhand in 6 months. The cost of electricity has put a heavy burden on the public. On the other hand, after the formation of the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab, people are getting 300 units of electricity free of cost. In Uttarakhand, not a single youth has been given employment in 6 months whereas in Punjab 35000 youth have been given employment in 6 months. No work has been done in Uttarakhand to improve health services, whereas in Punjab more than 100 Mohalla Clinics have opened in 6 months. Where the public is being treated free of cost and medicines are also available free of cost along with all tests. In this way, Nirmal Sharma told that what is the difference between the Aam Aadmi Party government and the BJP government. Nirmal Sharma has appealed to the people of Himachal to give a chance to the Aam Aadmi Party to form an honest government in the state, so that development takes place faster and better facilities are provided to the general public.
