At Shimla Flying Festival, The Great Khali advised the youth to stay away from drugs

 WWE wrestler The Great Khali aka Dalip Singh Rana attended the Flying Festival and Hospitality Expo-24 being held in Junga for the past two days as the chief guest in the morning session on Friday. On reaching Junga, a huge crowd gathered to see The Great Khali. He also enjoyed the flights of pilots from various states participating in the Flying Festival.
The Great Khali said in his address on this occasion that flying festival is a bold and risky sport and such events inspire the youth to face challenges. He said that this festival will promote tourism in Junga area which will create self-employment opportunities for the local people. The Great Khali said that to reduce the pressure of increasing tourists in Shimla, it is necessary to develop such untouched places so that tourists can enjoy nature. He appreciated the efforts of the organizer Arun Rawat for organizing this event.
He said that he is considering opening a wrestling academy in Himachal Pradesh for which a suitable site will be selected so that the youth of the state can get opportunities to come forward in the field of wrestling. He appealed to the youth to stay away from drugs. He said that if the youth have to get addicted to anything, then they should get addicted to sports and studies which will not go away till the end of their life.
Earlier, Managing Director of The Glide Inn Arun Rawat welcomed The Great Khali and gave information about the flying festival. He told that more than 50 pilots from different states are participating in this festival.
Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Aniruddh Singh attended the second phase of the flying festival as the chief guest in the afternoon. He said that the state government is giving special emphasis on promoting adventure sports in the state so that the youth interested in adventure sports can get opportunities to come forward. He said that the organization of the flying festival will promote tourism in the Kasupanti area.
Senior officers of various departments were present on this occasion.
