Artificial limbs distributed to 35 disabled persons : Satish Sharma

Courtesy of the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, a program was organized to provide artificial limbs to disabled persons at Sankat Mochan Mandir Taradevi. On this occasion, artificial limbs were distributed to 35 disabled persons, in which 13 persons were given hearing aids, 18 physically disabled persons were given wheel chairs and four persons were given crutches. Tehsil Welfare Officer Rural Shimla Satish Sharma said that all these artificial limbs for disabled persons have been provided by Sankat Mochan Mandir Trust Taradevi. For which the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment and the families of the disabled people have expressed gratitude to the temple trust and the local administration.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Verma, Kot Panchayat head Neha Mehta, BDC member Tutu Sita Sharma, Deputy Head Gram Panchayat Jalel, Senior Technician Anil Jistu, Audiologist Sandeep Rana, department representatives Pawan Shandil, Kamal Kishore and family members of disabled people were present in the program.
