Apple growers lodge FIR plucking & damaging crop
An FIR lodged by three growers for alleged plucking and damging apple crops from their orchards at Chiuna village under Chopal police station bin this district causing loss tunes to Rs 33 lakh to them, state police officer confirmed. Superintendent of Police Shimla Dr Monika Bhutunguru said that FIR is lodged under section 447 for criminal trespassing, 427 for mischievous causing damge and Sec 34 for causing crime with common furthermore at Chopal police station on Friday. She said that the case has been registered at PS Chopal on the application of Dula Ram, Amar Singh and Mohan Singh of Vill.Chiuna PO Sarain Tehsil Chopal alleging that between July 13 &14, 2022
some unknown persons entered in his orchard and and plucked apples from about 505 plants , which caused a loss of about 33 lakhs to all of them . Number of fruit were also found laying on the ground under the trees. Police didn’t ruled out the role of local residents to commit this crime however Case is being investigated by head constable Rajesh Sharma.
