Anurag Thakur’s insulting LOP Rahul Gandhi inside the House is highly condemnable: Surendra Chauhan
The state Congress burnt the effigy of Anurag Thakur outside the Deputy Commissioner’s office while raising slogans against him in protest against the indecent and insulting language used by MP Anurag Thakur against Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi in Parliament.
Mayor of Shimla Municipal Corporation Surendra Chauhan while talking to the media said that the way MP Anurag Thakur insulted the Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi inside the House is highly condemnable.
NSUI state president Chhatar Singh strongly criticized Anurag Thakur for asking Rahul Gandhi about his caste and insulting him in Parliament and said that Congress cannot tolerate insult of its leader at any level. He said that BJP is making unsuccessful attempts to suppress Rahul Gandhi’s voice. Today, the way Rahul Gandhi is raising the voice of the poor, backward and Dalits inside and outside the Parliament, BJP is losing sleep. He said that BJP can neither suppress Rahul Gandhi’s voice nor can scare the people of the country. Congress and India alliance are standing with the people with full strength.
State Women Congress President Zainab Chandel criticized MP Anurag Thakur and said that he is asking the caste of a family whose family has sacrificed their lives for this country. She said that Anurag Thakur has insulted not only Rahul Gandhi but also the freedom fighters of the country. She said that Anurag Thakur should apologize to Rahul Gandhi and the entire country.
