Anupam Kashyap assumes charge of Deputy Commissioner Shimla
Indian Administrative Service officer Anupam Kashyap has assumed charge as Deputy Commissioner of Shimla today he replaced Aditya Negi who was transferred as Settlement officers Kangra yesterday.
Born and educated at Shimla Anupam Kashyap is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the year 2014 batch and before becoming Deputy Commissioner, Shimla, he was holding the post of Director Transport.
Apart from this, he has previously served assignment he headed many important departments and government institutions.
After assuming the charge of Deputy Commissioner Shimla, Anupam Kashyap said that his priority would be to give impetus to various public welfare schemes of the state government so that the targeted sections can get the benefits of these schemes.
He discussed this matter with the district administration officials and urged them to work in coordination in this direction.
He said that better preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections will also be his priority so that this great festival of democracy can be successfully executed.
He also discussed this with the concerned officials and also took information about the counting centers in the district and gave instructions to prepare a plan for their inspection.
He reviewed with the officials of District Disaster Management Authority the context of snowfall and rain in the district and directed to restore all the roads on priority basis so that tourists and local people do not face any inconvenience.
