Anti-Drug Campaign Launched in Engine Ghar Ward to Save Youth
Concerned about the rising drug addiction among youth, local residents have taken the initiative to spread awareness. On Sunday, a meeting was held in Engine Ghar Ward Sanjauli, where the growing influence of drugs was discussed.
During the meeting, residents decided to launch a major campaign against Chitta (a synthetic drug). They pledged to take strict action against drug trade, consumption, and supply to protect the younger generation from falling into this deadly trap.
Strict Measures Planned
The attendees urged the administration to keep a close watch on illegal drug activities in the area and demanded strict action against drug peddlers.
Residents also committed to taking this campaign forward by spreading awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse.
Saving Youth is the Priority
Social activists and elders emphasized that if timely action is not taken, the future of the younger generation could be at risk. They also urged parents to keep an eye on their children and guide them in the right direction.
Next Steps
As part of this campaign, awareness rallies, poster campaigns, and seminars in schools and colleges will soon be organized to encourage youth to stay away from drugs.
