Another major bridge collapsed due to a landslide in Chamba

Another major bridge in the Chamba district connecting Chamba with Bharmaur has totally collapsed near Loona village and road traffic had come to a complete standstill on Sunday morning due to a major landslide. A spokesperson of the state government said today that the DEOC Chamba has informed an incident of Landslide occurred at Loona Bharmour District Chamba. In the Incident bridge has been totally collapsed and (NH-154A) Chamba to Bharmour has been totally snapped. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported. Earlier, another bridge on the same road collapsed due to a landslide two days ago. People of the Bharmaur have urged the state government to request the Army authorities to reconstruct the bridge so that they may not face problems to visit Chamba and other parts of India.
