Ambujaja cement plant row: administration to constitutes negotiation committee
Acting on the direction of the congress government, the deputy commissioner today decided to constitutes a negotiation committee to end the ongoing stand-off between the truckers and the managements of the AMbuja (Adani ) cement company at Daralgaht in Solan district. The decision to this effect was taken in a meeting, held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Solan Kritika Kulhari between the officials of Dadlaghat-based Ambuja Company and the representatives of the truck union over the issue of freight charges. It was decided in the meeting that to settle the matter between the truck union and the company, a negotiation committee would be constituted, in which representatives of the Transport Society, representatives of Ambuja Company and representatives of the administration would be included. In the committee, Sub-Divisional Officer Arki, Deputy Superintendent of Police Dadlaghat, Assistant Registrar Cooperative Society Officer, Regional Transport Officer and Labor Officer will represent the administration and representatives of Transport Union and Ambuja Company will also be include as members. Efforts will be made to mediate on the transport fare in the negotiation committee.In the meeting Additional Deputy Commissioner Zafar Iqbal, Additional Superintendent of Police Ajay Rana, Assistant Commissioner Deputy Commissioner Sanjay Swaroop, Sub Divisional Officer Arki Keshav Ram, Deputy Superintendent of Police Darlaghat Sandeep Kumar Sharma, General Manager DIC, LR Verma, State Transport Association President Naresh Gupta and Ambuja Representatives of cement plants were present.
