Alliance Air Suspends Domestic Flights in Himachal Indefinitely Due to Bad Weather

Alliance Air has indefinitely suspended its domestic flights connecting various districts of Himachal Pradesh due to persistent bad weather. Initially, the airline had planned to resume services by July 15, but no new schedule has been announced.

Alliance Air had launched flights connecting Shimla to Dharamshala and Shimla to Kullu, with fares ranging from Rs 3,500 to Rs 4,000. Due to continuous adverse weather conditions in July, the airline suspended these services, originally planning to resume them on July 16. However, the company has yet to release a new schedule.

Alliance Air operates flights from Dharamshala, Shimla, and Kullu airports to various destinations, including Delhi, Dehradun, and Amritsar. Despite continuous flights from Dharamshala to Delhi, Shimla to New Delhi and Amritsar, and Kullu to Delhi, Dehradun, and Amritsar, no new schedules have been posted on the airline’s website. Additionally, no information has been provided to the relevant airport authorities regarding the resumption of these services.

Gaggal Airport Director Dhirendra Singh confirmed that Alliance Air had notified them about the flight cancellations until July 15 due to bad weather. However, they have not yet received a new schedule from the airline.
