All Weather Rohtang Tunnel close after snowfall

All Weather Rohtang Tunnel closed after snowfall on the South and North portal distrupting vehicular traffic on the both side. A police spokesman said that south portal recorded 30 cm, North portal  15 cm. A police advisory said that It is snowing in district Lahaul and Spiti due to which all the roads including Rohtang Tunnel are currently closed for all types of vehicles.  Local people and tourists are advised to avoid unnecessary travel. Other places of Lahaul Spiti are snowing heavily due to which all the roads are currently closed for all types of vehicles.  Local people and tourists are advised to avoid unnecessary travel.
