After stopping subsidy on anti-hail net, now subsidy on solar fencing also stopped

The Congress government of the state has done injustice to the farmers and gardeners by stopping the subsidy on solar fencing, this was said by the state spokesperson Chetan Singh Baragata. He said that the previous BJP government had started the Solar Fencing Scheme through the Agriculture Department to protect the fruits and crops of the farmers. According to the scheme, farmers and gardeners were getting 70% subsidy for up to 1500 running feet for installing solar fencing outside their fields. Due to which small and medium gardeners were getting a lot of benefit. Chetan said that by installing solar fencing, farmers and gardeners were able to save their crops from the damage caused by wild animals. But why the Congress government stopped this scheme is beyond his understanding, while the farmers were benefiting from this scheme. The Congress government of the state has once again proved that this government is anti-gardener. Ever since this government has come to power in Himachal Pradesh, it has disappointed the gardeners and farmers by taking anti-horticulture decisions. Chetan said that to protect the gardener’s crop from hailstorm, the former BJP government had also added anti hail net in the Chief Minister Agricultural Production Protection Scheme. Which was also stopped by the current Congress government as soon as it came to power. Under this scheme, a farmer family was getting 80 percent subsidy on installing net in 5000 square meters. The former BJP government had also allocated a budget of 10 crores for the financial year 2021-22. This scheme was very beneficial for small farmers and gardeners, but the state government had stopped this scheme and canceled thousands of applications of farmers and gardeners. Today again, continuing its anti-horticulture policy, the Congress has stopped the subsidy on solar fencing that was available in the previous BJP government and cancelled the applications that were pending for two years. Chetan Baragata said that the Agriculture Minister and Horticulture Minister of the state should intervene in this matter and stop the injustice being done to the gardeners. Otherwise, the gardeners of the state will be forced to unite and launch a fierce movement against the Congress government to fight for their rights.
