ABVP raised its voice against ending reservation in Ph.D. for Scheduled Tribe category

In this context, today the Student Council surrounded the Head of the Department in protest against the rigging in the PhD admission process in the Commerce Department.
The Vidyarthi Parishad University Unit says that the University has been involved in such misdeeds for a long time under the guise of fulfilling its desires. Himachal Pradesh University has always been found involved in cases of illegal admission process.
Unit President Gaurav said that it has been seen for a long time that illegal admission in PhD (MBA RD) is taking place in the university and in the present time, continuous efforts of the administration are going on for illegal admission in the commerce department. He said that the administration The question is that the department tried to end the reservation by canceling the seats of Scheduled Tribe students and converting them into general seats without any advertisement. If the administration is doing all this under someone’s pressure, the council demands the resignation of the head of the department from his post.
Expressing his views, Gaurav said that there is no provision for converting ST seats into general ones, neither is there in the ordinance of the university nor was the admission process done following the guidelines of UGC.
Unit President Gaurav Kumar, while condemning such actions of the department, said that if the department does not cancel this entry in the future, then ABVP will not hesitate to carry out the most extreme agitation in the future.
Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad University Unit demands from the Shimla University administration that the process of illegal admission in the Commerce Department should be implemented immediately and an advertisement should be issued for admission to the students belonging to the Scheduled Tribe category.
