Abhinav and Meena got first place in the science and mathematics competition
Abhinav and Meena of Government Senior Secondary School, Chiyog have secured first position in the sub-divisional level mathematics and science competition. This competition was recently organized in Government Senior Secondary School, Matiana. On achieving an excellent position in the competition, these students were warmly welcomed into the school and Principal Sandeep Sharma honored Abhinav and Meena for this achievement.
The Principal said in his address that during the current academic year, the meritorious children who have secured first position in the board examinations will be given air travel and the students who have secured first position in class 9th and 11th examinations will be taken to different cities for three days including rail travel. Whereas the students securing the first position in classes VI, VII and VIII will be taken to Chandigarh. It should be noted that at present, Sandeep Sharma is paying the school fees of the promising players participating in the sports competitions at the district and state level this year from his personal account.
Let us tell you that earlier during his service in Government Senior Secondary School, Balag, Sandeep Sharma had taken the students of this school who got first position in the examination from class 6th to 12th, on a tour to Chandigarh, Delhi, in which the first position in the board examination was taken. The achieving children were given air travel and the children standing first in class 9th and 11th were given a train journey. All the school employees were also present on this occasion.
