A woman died in a road accident at Peeran Batola
A road accident occurred yesterday at about 3 o’clock on Batola Road of Gram Panchayat Peeran of Mashobra Block in which a woman died. According to police sources, yesterday at about 3 o’clock a pickup HP 65 A 0285 was coming from Batola to Peeran in which the driver Rakesh’s brother Neelu and sister-in-law Sarla (40) were also coming to get goods from the government depot. As soon as they left for Peeran from their home village Bel, the driver lost control of the vehicle and the vehicle went out of control and rolled down about 60 meters Sarla got stuck under the vehicle, and was pulled out after a long time with the help of a JCB and was immediately taken to IGMC where the doctors declared her dead. The driver Rakesh and his brother Neelu have suffered minor injuries.
As soon as the sound of the vehicle falling was heard, the local people gathered, and the police were informed. ASI Junga Mahendra Singh said that the woman’s post-mortem has been done and her body has been handed over to the family. The deceased Sarla has left behind her husband Neelu, two sons, and a daughter. Tehsildar Junga Narayan Verma said that immediate relief is being provided to the affected families.
Rural Development Minister Aniruddh Singh, former Pradhan Dayaram Verma, Atar Singh Thakur, Daulat Ram Mehta, Jabar Singh Thaku,r and many other dignitaries have expressed grief over the death of the woman. They have prayed to God for peace of the departed soul and to provide strength to the bereaved family to bear this sorrow.
